Candlelight choir audition

Dear prospective Disney 2026 candlelight auditionee,

I am pleased with your interest in participating with our community choir as we endeavor to join voices as a prospective group to participate in this year‘s Candlelight performances. If you have participated previously, you know that the audition process is very competitive and requires a high level of volunteer learning/rehearsing of required materials prior to submission for Disneyland‘s blind audition process.

Selected choirs are required to be comprised of equal SATB voices from 20 to 50 persons. Carol and I have led choirs in this process for over 20 years and I am inviting you to audition to be a part of this choir, hosted by First Presbyterian Church of Anaheim. I will be joined by a few others in reviewing and selecting those qualified to help us gain acceptance into the mass (400 voices) choir for candlelight 2026.

Please check the following sections for sheet music, fill in your contact information, and submit your personal recording via this form by August 23. If selected, you will be notified by September 1 for preliminary rehearsals of the required candlelight audition pieces. If you should not be chosen this year, please accept my apology and consider auditioning again in the future. Selected or not, we plan to share the Candlelight program on Christmas Eve at 9:00 PM and anyone interested may sing with the choir that evening.
