Photographs, Video and Rice Policies
Photographs are an important part of your wedding. In order to keep an appropriate atmosphere during your wedding, there are several places where photography, without flash, may be shot. Your wedding coordinator will meet with you sveral weeks before your wedding when this and any other concerns will be addressed. It is requested by our Church, that your guests allow your profssional photographer to take the pictures during the service. Guests cameras and flashes are very distracticing to the wedding party as well as the rest of your guests. Video recording is permissible if the operator is located in an area assigned by the Wedding Coordinator, remains at that location, and uses only available lighting. If there are any questions regarding the propriety of taking pictures or other activities asociatd with the wedding, the Wedding Coordinator will make the final decision, in consultation with the Pastor.
It is a strict policy of the Church that, confetti, bird seed, or rice not be thrown on the church grounds, public sidewalds, or the church parking lot. It can be vey dangerous to persons walking, particularly older people who may not have sure footing, and it is difficult to clean up.
