Website Information Each committee and organization involved in the life of our congregation needs to submit and update relevant information to make our website useful to visitors. Bruce Anderson and Karen Lavarreda will be fitting in website updates amid all their other church tasks. The design of the website is under the supervision of the Stewardship, Mission and Outreach Committee chaired by Catherine Morris. Janet Taylor handled the initial site design and will oversee major site changes. Requested information has been trickling into the office. Remember that the more complete the information the committee receives, the less time we have to spend tracking down the rest of the story. Inaccurate information If typos or inaccurate information are discovered while viewing this site, please either email it to webmaster@anaheimfirstpres.org with the correction (specify which page contains the error) or submit the information in writing and place it in the Web Site box in the office. New Content Submit new information by placing it in the Web Site box in the church office, or you can also email content to Bruce at webmaster@anaheimfirstpres.org. All content must be approved by the Stewardship, Mission and Outreach Committee. All theology based content must be approved by our Pastor, Ken Kalina. For scripture quotes, please use the New Revised Standard Version. There is a notebook in the church office offering some guidance about church website content from various sources. Photographs When planning any church functions (even small ones like a regular Women's Circle) please take some photos. Digital photos can be forwarded via email. Printed photos can be scanned. Make sure the event is identified and dated. If the photos are prints or on cd-rom, state whether or not you need them back. Personal information In preparing content for the website, some of the things that are normally printed in our monthly newsletter will be omitted. There will not be as much personal information - particularly personal addresses and phone numbers. While the newsletter is mailed only to our congregation and friends of the church, the World Wide Web is open to everyone. While listing directions to the church or a restaurant is fine, listing directions to someone's home for a meeting is not a good idea. If personal contact information is truly necessary, an email address is the best option.
