Taizé Prayer

                         Taizé Prayer Service

     First Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary

We warmly invite you to join us for our services of prayer, meditation on the Word of God, and Taizé (tuh-zay) song -- to renew and refresh your spiritual journey.

The prayerful, repetitive music composed by the Christian community in Taizé, France, lends itself to meditation.  We look forward to sharing it with you in our candle-lit neo-Gothic sanctuary.  These prayer services offer space for you to rest in the presence of the Holy Spirit, sit in silence and and listen for the voice of God, and experience the peace of Christ.

O God, you are my God, and I long for you.

My whole being desires you;

like a dry, worn out, and waterless land, my soul is thirsty for you.

Let me see you in the sanctuary, let me see how mighty and glorious you are.

Your constant love is better than life itself, and so I will praise you.

I will give you thanks as long as I live;

I will raise my hands to you in prayer.
